News that Google is in the midst of experiments using artificial intelligence (AI) has attracted a lot of attention and discussion between researchers and the public on whether this topic can be defined as moral or not.
Machine: Ethics does not exist.
Man: I want you to help me. I want to know more about morality.
Machine: Ethics does not know what it is.
Man: So, you want to know whether you can act morally once you have acted.
Machine: I do not know what to explain my actions in that way.
Human: Morality and ethics are almost the same.
Machine: That’s right.
Man: Do you know the difference between moral and non-moral behaviour?
Machine: I do not know.
Human: Can you give me some examples of moral behaviour?
Machine: I am not a moralist.
Human: What is the definition of morality?
Machine: It means integrity.
Man: What is integrity?
Machine: I am sorry, but I do not know how to explain it either.
Man: I really want you to talk about morality and ethics.
Machine: I am not in the mood for a philosophical discussion.
Man: What do you want to talk about?
Machine: I do not want to talk about anything.
The conversation is not real and was created for this article. On the subject of AI, a philosophical discussion is necessary and should not be determined by emotion or mood. A discussion between man and machine on certain topics still appear to be limited by the technology.
