Here is a photo of legendary film director Stanley Kubrick as a 17-year-old. Before movies, Kubrick took photos on the New York City subway in the 1950’s that were so good that they were published in a magazine called “Look”. 

His success as a photographer helped to launch his career in the movies where he became one of the greatest directors of all time.

These photos are currently on exhibition at the New York City Museum and it really shows Kubrick’s genius with a camera at such a young age!
