These dogs can grown to a height of 65cm and can weigh up to 50kg! Although it would very difficult to own a Bernese Mountain dog in an apartment or even a house in Japan, I am quite enthralled with this breed and would love to have one to be my lifelong companion!

The Bernese Mountain Dog originates from the city of Bern which is located in the Alps of Switzerland. This large and sturdy dog is very comfortable in cold weather but is very sensitive to heat and humidity. They love being outside and enjoy large spaces to run and explore!
