“Kamiike of Ose” is a pond which is located in the precincts of an ancient Shinto shrine called Ose. Looking at photo that was taken directly overhead, you can clearly see the unusual shape of this body of water.

This pond is fed by mysterious source of fresh water even though it is surrounded by salt water! Also, it is considered one of the seven wonders of the Izu peninsula!
