A dog who lost one of its hind legs and its tail has dramatically changed a boy’s life who is suffering from incurable diseases.
Encounter of Fate.
7-year-old Owen Hawkins living in the United Kingdom has been suffering from incurable diseases just only about 100 cases in all the world, “Schwarz-Yanperu Syndrome”. It is a genetic disorder that results in an abnormality in bone stiffness and in muscles. In addition, Owenn had even “agrophobia” the fear of going to a place where a lot of people gather.
Owen met Hatch, an Anatolian Shepard who has dramatically changed the boy’s life since he was 3 years old.
Hatch became trained as a therapy dog to take care of patients who are in a non-moving, moribund state …. Although Hatch was partially disabled, with a lack of a hind leg and his trail, he was found by the foster parents on Facebook.
Living with Hatch, Owen improves
Thanks to Hatch’s care and support, Own can drink medicine on his own as well as wanting to schools and hospitals that had been hesitant to go to before. “I want to talk to someone like Hatch.”
Owen and Hatch are becoming Famous
The relationship of Owen and Hatch is now attracting attention in the United Kingdom. In 2013, they received the “Friends of Life Award”. In addition, Hatch has also been honoured as IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare) animal.
