With the spread of smartphones in recent years, it seems that everyone has one of these amazing mobile devices but recently there is a new and popular trend towards owning an “un-smartphone” among some users globally.

Two New York designers have created a new mobile phone that has stripped-down features and basic call functions for those people who prefer a simpler device.

Here is a photo of their design in the above photo. It is ultra thin and is about the same size as a credit card and can fit into your wallet.

This new un-smartphone can call up 10 registered numbers (via speed dial) and is also possible to receive calls forwarded from a smartphone.

I still enjoy the multiple functions of today’s mobile smartphones so I may try this new device at a later date but it does look incredible!
