An “ice circle” occurs in streams, in rivers with gentle currents and in lakes but no clear scientific explanation has been identified! This is a real mystery of nature and phenomenon.

An “ice circle” is formed in which a thin round layer of ice is formed in a slow moving currents in streams, rivers and lakes during the winter season. It is also known as an “ice disk” and it has a tendency to rotate slowly as it floats on the surface of the water. Although the cause of the occurrence is unknown, it is thought that it is formed by vortex flow generated in the water
