An Injured Deer Fawn was Abandoned by Its Mother.

Here are two deer fawns following their mother and the fawn on the left was clearly having trouble walking as one of its legs appeared to be injured.

As a result of its injury, the deer fawn was left behind by its mother and never returned!

The deer fawn was in a difficult situation since there they are many predators so the fawn would clearly not survive alone in the wild.

Helped by Humans.

Soon, the fawn was discovered by a man named Darius and was brought back to his home.

Here is Darius’ house that has many animals such as dogs and cats.

Darius made a brace for the leg of the infant deer.

Or to drink the milk, every day that Darius’s in place of the mother take care.

Darius cared for the fawn every day and slowly nursed the animal back to health.

Time to Return to the Wild.

Darius decided that the best solution was to return the fawn and perhaps reunite the animal with her family.

At first, the fawn did not want to leave his adopted home and the kindness of Darius.

There were several deer grazing in the area.

Darius tried to gradually prepare the fawn for the day when the animal would return to the wild.

Darius was hoping that the fawn would be able to join his family in the wild.

Finally, the fawn was reunited with his family!

This deer fawn was able to return to the wild and be reunited with his family and this vulnerable animal would have surely died without the kind intervention of Darius who gave this gentle and lovely creature a chance to live a long and happy life!
