Spanish winemakers recently completed a two year project and successfully created the world’s first “Blue Wine” and this amazing innovation has online viewers from around the world talking about it!

What a beautiful blue color glass of wine! The name of this wine is “Gik” and was the inspiration of six Spanish creators who did not have any experience in making wine! With the cooperation and collaboration with various food industry development organizations, they were able to create this “blue wine” in just two years!

The theme of this inspiring project was “It’s not just to drink a blue wine, but to taste the invention of drinks”! The development team said that it is the ultimate aim of their company was to truly stimulate the five senses by creating truly memorable foods and drinks!

Indigo color features.

“Gik” features a vivid indigo color and was created by blending red and white wine grape varieties harvested in the vineyards of Spain and then adding blue dyes extracted from plants along with anthocyanins contained in the grape skin.

There are no artificial sweeteners and thus no additional calories and has a surprising 11.5% alcohol content and has a sweet and refreshing flavor!
