Here is a touching story of one man’s final moments on Earth from a hospital bed in San Antonio, Texas in the United States. His name was “Roberto Gonzalez” who was a soldier during the war in Vietnam and was wounded and paralyzed. Despite his condition, he was able to achieve his dream of “owning a ranch in Texas and spending time together with his horses.”

“Roberto Gonzalez” was able to realize that dream and could spend many years on his ranch with his horses. When his condition became worse and the end of his life approached, he was moved to a hospital and Mr. Gonzalez made one final request to his family and doctors that “I want to see the face of a horse before I die.”
To fulfill the dying man’s final wish along with the cooperation of the hospital and Gonzalez’s family, two horses from his ranch were transported nearly 250 kilometers to visit the dying man.

The two horses that visited the hospital were named “Sugar” and “Apple” .

The horses actually look concerned when they see just how weak Mr. Gonzalez is.

The horse gently nuzzled the dying man’s face.

Mr. Gonzalez also touched the face of the horse.

After a short time while being watched by the horse and his family, Mr. Gonzalez died. It was a touching moment that this man was able to have his last wish granted before dying.
