A delicious dessert created by popular young chef Byron Talbott. He calls it an American-made “Chocolate Ball Sundae”.
How do you Make It?
First of all, Melt the dark chocolate on top of a pan and water (A water bath) at a temperature of 40 ℃.

After 5 minutes have passed much, start stirring the chocolate until it becomes a smooth liquid.

Then, add more dark chocolate into your melted chocolate at a slightly cooler temperature (30 ℃) and continue to stir the melted chocolate.

This process of adding cooler chocolate into your hot chocolate sauce is called tempering and it make the chocolate shiny.

Pour your tempered chocolate into some round shaped glass molds that forms a ball.

With a lid, continue to coat the chocolate in the mold.

Then, place the chocolate mold in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes until cool . (To achieve a uniform thickness, turn the mold every 2-3 minutes)

A little gap between the mold and the chocolate is evidence that the chocolate has firmly solidified.

We will remove the chocolate line by using a spatula and the chocolate has solidified.

Then, it becomes like a big truffle chocolate ball like this.

Now, Place the ball on top of a warm container so it will dissolve the bottom part of the chocolate ball.

Make sure that the space is big enough so you are able to fill the cavity.

Prepare the contents that you will place in the cavity.

Prepare your sundae, you can use caramel, peanuts, a banana or strawberries on top of some vanilla ice cream.
