Last year, the 30th anniversary of the movie “Back to the Future 2”, Lexus has announced that they have created and manufactured a “hoverboard” based on the futuristic technology that was in the original movie.

As you may be aware of, the Lexus brand originated from Japan’s most famous and successful world-class company Toyota.

Lexus created a video which provides more detail on the announcement.

The Lexus “hoverboard” may combine a cooled superconductor and permanent magnet along with liquid nitrogen within its design so that it actually operates as shown in the photo. Nothing has been confirmed yet and the whole project is covered in secrecy at this time.

Anyways, “The future is back to now!”

Lexus is keeping the details of the project a closely guarded secret for now though there are rumours that a test run by a professional skateboarder is taking place in Barcelona at this time!
