A significant delay for frustrated airline passengers at an airport was transformed into a fantastic choral performance by a group of Broadway musical performers which delighted the onlookers and became a major online topic for many viewers.

From the Theaters of Broadway to the Airport!

At LaGuardia Airport in New York, a flight to Orlando, Florida was delayed by almost 6 hours due to bad weather. At the terminal, a group of Broadway performers from the musicals of “The Lion King” and “Aladdin” started singing a cappella on the spot to soothe the nerves of frustrated passengers trapped at the terminal.

Suddenly, the chorus becomes bigger and bigger and seems to be overflowing as startled spectators smile and listen to the beautiful sound. Although, many passengers were annoyed by significant flight delays at the airport, this impromptu performance by these Broadway chorus performers was a wonderful diversion and happy surprise!
