A Short Summary of the Film.

A young girl has a seemingly happy life at home with her family. However, signs of her parents unease gradually begin to show themselves and the little girl starts to be criticized and ignored by her mother and father. On a cold and misty day, the family decide to take a drive out into the country and stops at an an isolated area where they all take a stroll together in the forest. The unsuspecting little girl is carrying her favorite toy which is a stuffed doll given to her by her parents.

The final scene of the short film has a shocking turn of events which would leave most people feeling guilty and ashamed.

A stuffed doll is thrown on the ground and as the little girl runs to pick it up the car starts to drive away without waiting for her. She is being abandoned just like her stuffed doll.

Here is the little girl chasing after the car.

Now, we see a dog sitting on a lonely road next to the stuffed doll. Where is the girl? In fact, the girl is actually a pet that has been been abandoned.

This short film emphasizes that the lives of pets should be respected in the same way as people. Abandoning a pet is the same as abandoning a little girl.
