A heartfelt event involving humans and dogs occurred in Mexico recently became a very popular topic online all over the world.

The event was a funeral for a well known animal activist named Margarita who often cared for homeless and stray dogs by providing food and shelter for them in her neighbourhood. Recently, Margarita died and her funeral service was held at her home and something special happened.

Many animals began to visit and stay near her casket at her home even though they had no way of knowing about her death and funeral ceremony.

As more and more dogs gathered near her coffin, people also noticed that the dogs would not look at the casket but had their faces down as if they were paying their respects in prayer to their matron just as a person would do at a funeral.

I don’t know whether the dogs were really aware of what was happening but clearly their relationship with Margarita was strong since they had taken care of so many stray dogs on a daily basis during her lifetime.

The dogs appeared to be saying thank you and farewell to Margarita.
