Here is a dramatic rescue of a dog by strangers on a sandbar in the middle of a river in the country of Serbia that was captured on video! It is an amazing effort to save this trapped animal from a terrible fate!

Here is the frightened and desperate dog alone on the edge of a river. He looks to be in some trouble!

A brave man decides to help the animal and begins to climb down to the water’s edge. This is a precarious descent!

When he reaches the base of the bridge, he must jump across the water to reach the sandbar and the stranded dog.
The man reaches the dog and carries it back to the base of the bridge where another bystander now assists in grabbing the dog and lifting the animal to safety!

Another person joins in to finally move the stricken animal up to the top of the bridge!

What a dramatic rescue and a tremendous effort by these men!

Now, the men help each other to return to the top of the bridge and to safety! This was an example of fantastic teamwork!
