・Thank you! Thank you!

・We really don’t know what to say. When you found this image of our dog on Google Street View” we were surprized but so happy as everyone in my family loved this dog very much and when all of our photos of him were lost (a damaged computer hard drive), we thought that we would never see him again.

・This photo of our dog which you found is the only surviving image of him left in this world. This is his legacy and we are so happy to have this only image of our dear dog! Thank you again for finding this photo and sharing it with my family.

The Internet can sometimes feel like an inhuman forum of texts and words but this story brought together people from many different parts of the world together on an emotional level since there is a common theme of love and loss of a dear friend and pet which is shared by many people. The bulletin board created a platform for people to communicate and share their feelings with each other which really brought the technology to life in real human terms.
