The creation and successful testing of an apparatus utilizing the planets and human beings based on a scientific challenge sponsored by National Geographic” has inspired the building of the elaborate mechanical contraption since in the above image that utilizes 71 assorted individual components.

The American cartoonist Rube Goldberg invented created this contraption or Pythagoras Device using a large number of elaborate chains powered by gravity which has been named the “Rube Goldberg Machine”.

The contraption is triggered by the movement of one globe shaped component shown here.

This is a large-scale machine which works on the principles of Pythagoras.
