The Japanese macaque monkey in Nagano Prefecture are famous for their winter baths at the “Jigokudani Hot Springs” where they congregate to soak and socialize when winter temperatures and heavy snow are at their most extreme. This spectacle has recently become extremely popular with foreign tourists visiting Japan and with online viewers from all over the world who have become enamoured of these adorable primates enjoying the pleasures of a hot bath!
