“Mysterious ground paintings that was made about 2000 years ago” has been discovered in the Amazon and has become a hot topic of discussion with online viewers worldwide!

They were discovered in an area of jungle in Acre State which is located in the northwestern part
of Brazil. It seems deforestation that has occurred in the region over the past decade had uncovered the earthwork paintings quite by accident and their existence were verified by aerial photos! we have found the situation of deforestation in recent years from photos taken from the sky.

The mysterious shapes include a large prominent circle in a conspicuous position along with several squares and various other shapes that total over 450. A research team at Sao Paulo University in Brazil is currently investigating and it seems that these pictures were created more than 2000 years ago.

Dr. Jennifer Watling of the research team said, “Although we found evidence that indigenous people of ancient times managed forests in this area such logging forests and painting ground paintings is still not clear and that further research and study will be necessary to fully understand just why these paintings were created!”
