A cloud formation that looked like a spaceship from the Hollywood movie “Independence Day” in Columbia appeared!

In the sky above Colombia, a huge and eerie cloud appeared which a large number of people witnessed and became extremely alarmed! Videos were taken and were posted on social media networks (SNS) and became a huge topic of discussion among online viewers worldwide.

This circular gigantic cloud suddenly appeared in the sky over the city Cartagena, Colombia on June 30th. The sight is reminiscent of the mother ship of the American science fiction movie “Independence Day” released in 1996. For more details please see the movie at the bottom of the page.

According to Colombian Institute for Meteorological and Environmental Studies, it is said that it was caused by a change in air pressure. If such a huge cloud appears in such a way as to cover the sky above an entire city, it is certain to create a lot of fear.
