At the London Nine Elms building development, a unique feature of this development is the “Sky Air Pool” which has been a topic sensation online among many viewers.
The bottom of the pool is made of transparent glass and has a length of about 27 meters with a pool depth of 1.2 meters as shown in the photo below.
This building which was created by the same company (Ekazuri-Okyaragan) that designed the Apple headquarters in Silicon Valley will have a rooftop terrace which will have scenic views of the clock tower and Ferris wheel in London and is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2019.
The building is able to cope with strong winds by allowing movement by both sides of the building to allow the durability support design of the swimming pool which was approved by building authorities of the City of London this past August.
It is a great idea to create a pool linking two buildings together though the view will be either scary or beautiful.
