Here is a magical friendship between an unlikely pair of animals. A cat named “Koda” and a golden retriever named “Keelo” are the closest of companions. They have been together since “Koda” was a small kitten here are some heartwarming images of these two together as best friends that is certain to make you smile!

This type of friendship really should last forever!

Unfortunately, “Keelo” suddenly passed away on February 24, 2017 and was 9 years old. His close friend “Koda” is no doubt missing his companion every day!

Keelo has passed away unexpectedly yesterday morning and we, as a family, are extremely devastated. He had undergone a surgery for a ruptured anal sac and somewhere, it went wrong. He was lethargic, throwing up, and distant after the surgery. He also had been losing weight and suffered joint pains and skin allergies prior to the surgery, which the vet merely dismissed as symptoms of old age, but now we couldn't help but wonder if there was something more serious there that could have led to his demise. The vet couldn't give a proper explanation for his death, either. He died around an hour after being rushed to the vet. We are so terribly saddened by his passing and our house feels so empty without his bright presence. He always made us smile, laugh, and feel so loved. The most patient, kindest, gentlest, goofiest, most wonderful dog ever. We will miss him so, so much. It is so hard to lose a pet as amazing as Keelo, and so suddenly, too! I hope he is on the Rainbow Bridge with Drogon and all the kittens he has ever wanted! I also hope there are many beaches in dog heaven, too, so he can keep swimming to his heart's content. We love you so damn much Keelo, and it is so hard to accept you're no longer with us, but I'm just glad you're not in pain anymore. You will always be in our hearts! The owner said, “Keelo” with many of the kitten who have ever been Rainbow bridge I hope to be in. I also hope that there are lots of beaches in the dog’s heaven. Also, it is hard to accept that you are not staying together, but I am glad that you do not feel pain any longer. We are talking about it.

I am very sad with sudden death, but I hope that “Keelo” will be peaceful.
