Here is a shocking video of an abused and uncleaned puppy who was recently rescued and treated by animal shelter facility staff. It seems that almost the entire animals body was covered in dried mucus and was a serious threat to its well-being. This video has quickly become a major topic of discussion and concern from online viewers from all over the world!

This puppy is named Pascal and was in a terrible condition when it was brought into the shelter and was having trouble breathing!

The dog’s owners failed to give the dog proper care and treatment.

How could the owners treat their pet like this? A lack of proper care and hygiene had created a thick dried layer of mucus and filth that had almost completely covered the dog’s entire body!

The veterinarian commented that “The filth was as hard as cement” and was preventing proper blood flow in the dog’s body.

Various treatments were applied.

Pascal who was in danger of losing his life so veterinarians carefully cut off the hair of the canine and treated the damaged skin with medications.

It took several hours to remove all of the matted and dried hair.

Applying various kinds of skin treatments required a lot of care and though there was some permanent skin damage and scarring, “Pascal” had a chance to survive and recover!

Pascal’s recovery will take a long time especially the mental scars of his terrible ordeal. I hope that he will be able to find happiness with some new foster owners and be loved and cared for by a family in a safe home!
