The title of this painting is “Untitled”. and was created by American artist named Cy Twombly who previously worked as a cryptanalyst for the U.S. Army. At a November 2015 auction sponsored by Sotheby’s in New York City, this painting was purchased for an incredible USD $70,530,000 dollars! This is the highest ever valuation for this artist’s work! It seems to have with the value. That of the highest ever amount as a successful bid price of his work (The highest ever price for Twombly’s work up to now was USD $69.6 million US dollars).

To most people, this painting appears to be nothing more that a blackboard with some unrecognizable markings on the board but it is a very valuable work of art! A prominent American collector is reported to have purchased the painting at the Sotheby’s auction and will be displayed at an undisclosed location.
